Join Mayor Paul Foster as he helps celebrates 50 years at Prospect Park with a memorial tree planting in the parks lower picnic grounds on Cajon Street on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 12:00 p.m.

The Friends of Prospect Park along with the City of Redlands are recognizing the 50th anniversary of Prospect Park with their partners, Kimberly Crest House and Gardens, Redlands Horticulture and Improvement Society & Redlands Theatre Festival on Saturday June 2, 2018, from 12:00 pm-4:00pm.

This will event will have local press and dignitaries in attendance along with community members and families who will have the opportunity to learn more about the history of the park and celebrate the achievements the Friends of Prospect Park have made developing, improving and maintaining this 40 acre woodland park and orange groves!

The free event is open to the public and will include historical vehicles and citrus exhibits, a scavenger hunt, Yoga and Art programs, Red Dirt Art Association arts, and music programs.  In addition the Kimberly Crest Mansion will have the garden open from 12:00-4:00pm and will offer self-guided tours of the inside of the mansion from 12:30-3:30pm.   Docents will be stationed throughout the mansion so the public can view the mansion at their own pace.
