Join us for a fun filled educational in-person LEGO camp!

The City of Redlands Recreation Division is pleased to offer its LEGO camp for children ages 5-12. These classes are generously offered through the City of Redlands and taught by Play-well Teknologies.

Play-well have outstanding instructors teaching year-round and make the curriculum their own, so that each program is a uniquely fun experience.

Learn Coding Using LEGO Spike Prime System (1/2 Day)

Build and program robots in this Introductory Robotics Class using the LEGO Spike Prime System. Learn basic programming skills using a simple visual block coding system that will allow kids to grasp new and diverse coding challenges. Join us as we build a variety of different robots using motors, sensors and lights that will make for a fun experience that incorporates both building with LEGO and coding. This is a great way to prepare young Robotics enthusiasts for our more advanced Robotic programs.

Explore Coding using LEGO Spike Prime System (1/2 Day)

Rise to the challenge to build and program robots using the LEGO Spike Prime system! Learn about mechanical and software design, loops, conditional statements, problem solving, and teamwork skills. Design and construct your robot to avoid obstacles, pick up and carry objects, and play sounds. Projects are structured so that students work in an open-ended, investigative environment while having fun.

STEM + Pokemon Master Engineering using LEGO Materials (Full- Day Camp)

Gear up for a full-day LEGO camp packed with hands-on and minds-on STEM fun! In this challenge based program, start by building engineer-designed projects and putting your creativity and problem skills into action. Then, learn to build your favorite Pokemon, evolve them into more powerful version, and come face to face with the current champion in an epic battle for the title. Challenge yourself in the world of Engineering and Pokemon in this new full-day themed camp for LEGO fanatics.

STEM + Pokemon Engineering using LEGO Materials (Full- Day Camp)

Prepare for a full-day LEGO camp packed with hands-on and minds-on STEM fun! First, build projects inspired by cool machines while applying real-world concepts in physics, engineering and architecture. Then, join Ash and Pikachu to explore the vast world of Pokemon as we build and catch our favorite Pokemon, rescue Pikachu from Team Rocket, and take a ride in the S.S. Anne to uncover rare and mystic Pokemon. Come along on our journey to catch ‘em all.
