The City of Redlands will conduct a public workshop next week seeking input on the City’s proposed bicycle lane connectivity plan.

The workshop will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, in the City Council Chambers, 35 Cajon St.

This will be the first in a short series of workshops designed to receive input from the community about desired routes for bike lanes within the City and which lanes the community considers as priority projects. The City will incorporate information received during the workshops into a master planning document for implementation when funding becomes available.

The City currently has plans identifying up to 59 miles of bicycle lanes, including more than seven miles of existing bike lanes. The workshops will assist City staff in identifying additional areas to be considered and prioritizing projects.

Future workshop dates will be determined following the Jan. 23 meeting. For further information, contact Ross Wittman, project manager, at (909) 798-7585, ext. 7.
