The Redlands Senior Centers offers several one-day travel programs throughout the year. From casino tours to trips to explore points of interest in Southern California, Redlands seniors are always traveling. Activity levels are provided for each trip:

Mild - May require some leisurely walking. There may be minimal steps or uneven surfaces and some standing.

Moderate - May require moderate walking and extended standing. There may be steps or uneven surfaces.

Strenuous- May require extended periods of walking and standing. There may be numerous steps or uneven terrain

 

Palm Springs Turn Around  - Thursday March 27,2014

Time: 3:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Activity Level: Moderate

Cost:With Patron Card: $14 per person or $26 per couple /Without Patron Card: $15 per person or $28 per couple 

Join the City of Redlands as we take a trip to and from downtown Palm Springs and visit the Aqua Caliente Casino in Ranch Mirage! Trip includes: 
* Admission to the Palm Springs Art Museum
* Enjoy entertainment, food, & shopping at the Farmers Market 
* An evening at the Auga Caleinta Casino 

 

Cars & Crafts Show at the Bates Nut Farm - Sunday, April 27,2014

Time: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Activity Level: Moderate

Cost: With Patron Card: $23 per person or $45 per couple /Without Patron Card: $24 per person or $28 per couple 

Spend the day viewing custom cars and hot rods or a variety of arts and crafts.  Enjoy delicious food and music.  Lunch is on your own.

 

Huntington Museum & Library - Friday, May 23,2014

Time: 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Activity Level: Moderate

Cost: With Patron Card: $23 per person or $45 per couple /Without Patron Card: $24 per person or $28 per couple 

Your day trip will include transportation and a Docent lead tour of the museum and beautiful gardens. Lunch is on your own.

 

The Old Worldin Huntington Beach - Wednesday, June 04,2014

Time: 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Activity Level: Moderate

Cost: With Patron Card: $28 per person or $54 per couple /Without Patron Card: $30 per person or $58 per couple 

Join us for a full day with a trip to the old world in Huntington Beach where we will enjoy the show "One Voice" starring multi - talented voice impressionist Bethany Owen. Lunch is included!

    • Established in 1988, Redlands Market Night has established itself as one of the most successful certified farmers markets in Southern California! Vendors vie to participate in the event that has attracted thousands of weekly visitors since its inception. Visitors are welcomed into an inviting atmosphere complete with lighted trees, brick sidewalks, historic buildings, and great musical entertainment. Crowds are pleasantly surrounded by over 150 food and merchandise booths, not to mention the downtown shopkeepers, every Thursday night.

    • The City’s successful Saturday Morning Certified Farmers Market brings fresh local produce to historic downtown Redlands every Saturday.

      The Saturday Morning Certified Farmers’ Market began June 6, 2009, bringing local growers to the City parking lot south of Redlands Boulevard between Fifth and Sixth streets near Ed Hales Park. The market operates from 8 to 11 a.m. every Saturday, excluding holiday weekends.

    • During operating hours, residents can dispose of household materials including, outdated prescription medication (with the exception of controlled substances), outdated pet prescription medication, paint products, chemical cleaners, pesticides, fertilizers, hobby/pool supplies, automotive oil, filters, brake fluid, transmission fluid, anti-freeze, gasoline, and propane tanks.

      The site does not accept business waste, radioactive wastes, medical waste, explosives, reactives, or asbestos.

    • Extended service hours are offered in order for the public to conduct City business before and after traditional business hours. City staff is available 9 hours a day to serve you. City Hall offices are closed every other Friday.
