City of Redlands Press Releases
The City will begin work Nov. 14 on renovations to the public restrooms at Prospect Park. The $15,000 project is being paid for through a donation from the Friends of Prospect Park. In addition, $7,000 worth of fixtures were also donated for the project by the Redlands Service Club Council and the Home Depot Foundation.
Please take a moment and let the Public Benefit Resource Committee know what investments you think are important to make for Redlands parks, future parks, citrus groves, trails, atheletic fields and open space.
The City of Redlands Recreation Division and Redlands Police Department along with several local businesses are collecting toys for the 17th Annual Children’s Christmas Block Party. This year’s toy drive is critically important. Grant funding has been limited for the past several years and the toy drive will be a major contributor to the toys/gifts given to the children this year. In previous years, the toy drives have matched the gifts purchased through grant funding allowing more than 1,000 gifts/toys to be donated to our community, local shelters and families in crisis.
