Ready to Join Us?
There are just a few steps to take. All volunteers must undergo a background check and fingerprinting. This is coordinated by our staff and the fee is paid by the City of Redlands.
1. Please fill out the volunteer interest form to express your interest in volunteering.
2. Downolad and fill out the Volunteer Waiver and submit it to our staff at either one of our Senior Centers or you may e-mail it to us at recreationstaff@cityofredlands.org.
3. Upon receipt of your volunteer waiver and interest form, one of our staff members will contact you for a follow-up regarding your interest.
Once you have been cleared to volunteer, a staff member or fellow volunteer will contact you to arrange a short orientation. During this time, we’ll discuss what your interests are and current opportunities that you may be interested in. We’ll also provide a valuable foundation to make your volunteer experience a success!
4. Your information will be provided to the City’s Human Resources team. They will contact you to arrange for you to complete your background check and fingerprinting. The entire process can take 2-3 weeks.
Thank you for your interest in joining our volunteer team!
For additional information, please call one of our centers, inquire at the front desk, or email recreationstaff@cityofredlands.org.
