Downtown’s Morning Market to transition to smaller Certified Farmer’s Market during Winter months

Beginning December 2nd, the City of Redlands’ Downtown’s Morning Market will transition to a certified farmer’s market and will continue each Saturday through February 24, 2024, excluding December 23 and December 30.

The small market, situated between Redlands Boulevard and State Street on 5th Street, will be open from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and will continue to provide a range of offerings, including fresh fruits, vegetables, locally sourced honey, and fresh eggs.

Customers can still use their EBT benefits at the market by purchasing tokens for buying fruits and vegetables. Additionally, Market Match, California’s healthy food initiative, offers customers an extra $15 to spend on fresh produce at the market. This program matches federal nutrition assistance benefits, such as CalFresh, at farmers’ markets, providing additional funds for the purchase of fruits and vegetables. Learn more at MarketMatch.org.
