EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program

The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program was created by Congress in 1990 to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors. Under the immigration program certain EB-5 visas are set aside for investors in targeted employment areas designated by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services based on proposals for promoting economic growth.
