Permit Application System
Building & Safety Division and Land Use Engineering Division:
At this time, all building permit applications for new structures must be submitted in person to Building & Safety located in the One Stop Permit Center (35 Cajon St., Suite 15-A). Business hours for the One Stop Permit Center are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday (City offices and the One Stop Permit Center are closed on alternating Fridays).
The City of Redlands is in the process of implementing an online portal for electronic submittal of construction plans as well as related fee payments. However, that system is not complete or available at this time. Check back here soon for updates!
Fire Permits and Plans:
Fire Plans are accepted electronically only. Please visit the Fire Dept. page for more information.
Fees
The City’s fee schedule (e.g., building permit fees, grading permit fees, etc.) can be reviewed through City Council Resolution No. 8522 (click here).
