CULTURAL ARTS COMMISSION

The Cultural Arts Commission promotes public interest in arts,
recommends new arts programs and sources of funding for those
programs, assists the City Council by recommending policies to
encourage, develop and support the arts in Redlands, and advises
the City Council in the administration of the City’s “Art in
Public Places” program.
The Cultural Arts Commission meets bi-monthly on the second
Monday of odd-numbered months at 4:00 p.m.

PLANNING COMMISSION

The Planning Commission prepares a comprehensive long term
general plan for the physical development of the City and makes
recommendations to the City Council relating to the maintenance
of the General Plan, zoning administration, environmental
assessments, site plan and architectural review, subdivision
planning, sign, parking and landscaping regulations, housing and
historic preservation.
The Planning Commission meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of
each month at 4:00 p.m.

HISTORIC AND SCENIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION

The Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission promotes public
interest in and understanding of historical and scenic properties
and their preservation.
The Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission meets on the
first Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Application deadline is November 18, 2024
The Board may make and enforce all rules, regulations and bylaws
necessary for the administration, government and protection of
the library and all property belonging thereto. The Board
may administer trusts created for the Library and receive gifts
by devise or bequests, hold property in trust in California or
elsewhere, and dispose of property for the benefit of the
Library. Since 1922, the Trustees have managed an Endowment
Fund, income from which supplements and enriches the Library’s
programs, acquisitions and well-being.
The Library Board meets on the second Tuesday of each month at
5:00 p.m.
